I feel like I haven’t written anything in FOREVER! So I thought what better way to swing back into the Valks than a little overview of what I’ve been reading and playing recently!
Reading:
Book-wise I’m reading My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga, this her debut book and I read her second novel back in February and fell instantly in love with Jasmine’s writing style and tone of voice!
Comics
I FINALLY started Saga much to the excitement of both myself and the other Valk girls! I read volumes 1 and 2 across a few days and I can’t wait to dive into volume 3 and to pick up the next few volumes on my next visit to the library!
I also finally started reading Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 1: The Parker Luck which I mentioned in my last post (which you can read here), it was another library find and so far I think I’m enjoying it? I’m only a few pages in so I can quite tell yet!
Games
I started streaming on twitch properly! I got a headset a couple of weekends back so I’ve been testing that out and doing a couple of streams, it’s nothing too fancy but it’s something I’m probably just going to be doing from time to time if I fancy it!
I’ve been loving Overwatch at the moment (but let’s be honest when aren’t I?) but now that the Halloween event is on it’s just that little bit more fun! It’s also been my first Halloween event so getting to experience it properly has been a lot of fun!
And I finally started playing Shadow of the Tomb Raider and I’m not very far into it but so far it’s been a lot of fun and a lot of stress! I love how you can really feel Lara’s emotions in this game and it’s so intense oh my god! I’ve been sat at the edge of my seat so many times!
